Green Valley Desert Meadows is one of the original neighborhoods that helped shape the Green Valley community. Development began in the mid-1960s by the Green Valley Development Company, one of the pioneering builders that envisioned a retirement-friendly desert community. The subdivision grew in several phases—Desert Meadows I, II, and III—and today includes approximately 500 homes.
Homes in Desert Meadows range from around 1,000 to 2,000 square feet, offering a mix of ranch-style and traditional Arizona architecture with low-maintenance landscaping designed for active-adult living. Many homes boast beautiful views of the Santa Rita Mountains and are situated along quiet, mature streets lined with desert flora. The neighborhood’s convenient proximity to shopping, recreation centers, and golf courses makes it an ideal blend of comfort, convenience, and community charm.
