Promote Harmony, Prosperity & Health in Your Home

Feng Shui

Feng shui is about creating harmony by finding ways to connect manmade things with nature through design. Its goal is to use energy, called chi, to harmonize individuals to their surroundings. This includes optimizing the internal and external spaces, as well as garden spaces.

The Five Elements

eng shui, is a 5,000-year-old Chinese system and theory based on a set of universal principles and laws of nature, applied to our living environment. These principles are believed by many to help us attain happiness, health, prosperity and freedom. The Five Elements system, describes how different aspects of nature interact with each other and seek to stay in balance. These five elements are earth, metal, water, wood, and fire which resonate with one another. In addition, these elements relates to not only a material, but a type of energy that it is associated with.

Wind & Water

Feng Shui (meaning Wind and Water in Chinese) is the ancient art of placement to promote harmony, wealth, success and health. Feng Shui deals with the location and architecture of buildings, along with interior design and exterior landscaping. At its heart, feng shui is about the concept of chi — a life force or energy flow — in your home. Just as in Traditional Chinese Medicine chi is said to flow through the body, in feng shui chi is thought to flow through our homes.
The nuances of feng shui practice are based on the way we shape the energy that moves in and around our home and rooms.
Place house plants in key areas of your home where they create a welcoming feeling, as well as receive plenty of natural light. The main entry, the living room, and the dining area are the most popular rooms to position your plants for good feng shui.

Sheng Chi

Painting your front door green is said to bring growth and it is related to the element of wood. Clutter is the arch nemesis of feng shui. Help bring good energy into your home by removing all clutter from inside your front door so you don't block that good energy. Air and energy should always be moving, and clutter is like a stop sign to energy. Electronic devices are said to produce negative energy via electromagnetic fields. Ideally, you should minimize your exposure by keeping your alarm clock, TV, and phone at least three feet way from your bed at night.
